Single Serve Coffee - Eliza Furnace (10 Pack) by Steeped
Now you can have killer coffee, anytime, anywhere.
Our flagship blend is ground, flushed with nitrogen (for freshness) and sealed in single-serve 100% compostable packaging. If you know how to steep a teabag, you know how to make great coffee.
Just place a single pouch in a mug (8-12 oz) and pour hot water over. Let steep for 5-10 minutes (longer if you want it stronger). Make sure you squeeze out the packet when you take it out. You can also make cold brew from them, though you’ll have to experiment with your steeping time. We recommend using one packet per 8oz of water, and steeping for at least 16 hours. If you like it stronger, add more coffee, stir every once in a while and/or steep longer.
The coffee we chose to use is a blend called Eliza Furnace—the most versatile coffee we roast. Medium dark, it can stand up to cream, but mellow and smooth enough that it certainly doesn’t need it. Big body, sweet and creamy mouthfeel. It is a blend of Brazil (for chocolatey sweetness) and Colombia (for a nice, bright citric acidity and clean finish).
10 Pouches come in a box, and each pouch stays good for up to a year when sealed—though like anything, flavor will gradually fade with time.
Want free coffee?
If you buy one and use it somewhere fun (sailboat? Airplane? Top of El Cap?) snap a photo and shoot it to talk@defer.coffee. Bonus points for creativity and working our logo into the photo. Include your name and address in the email, and if we post it on Instagram, we’ll send you a free 10-pack!
